info on w58?

hi i was just wondering if anybody could give me some info on the w58 boxes as i just bought one off ebay and i want to make sure its genuine.. i have pictures

thats definitely a W5x box, the only way to tell it is a W58 is the ratios.

Judging by the shifter position and bellhousing I'd say its a W55 from an SA63 Celica.

I'd have to agree with you there...

Someone with an SA63 may have replaced their W55 with a W58 and swapped over the shifter housing and bell, but more than likely not...
