    Default G3 potenza's - mileage?

Just wondering if anyone is running G3 potenza's what sort of Km's they get per set? I'm running 195/60/14 but don't feel I get the mileage I should out of them

I know I need new shocks, but surely this can't be the only reason

Stuffed suspension components will drastically shorten the life of tyres. A few things to consider before blaming it on the tyres themselves.

    - Shocks
    - Ball joints
    - Tie rod ends
    - Suspension bushes
    - Driving style
    - Air pressure

Also have you looked at their compound, this should be a good indicator of their expected milage.

for the softer RE01R's people reported (iirc) lifetimes between 10 and 40Kkm, depending on weight of car, size of tyre, and driving style/speed....

how quick are they wearing out? what driving style? are they wearing evenly across the surface, etc etc

I've seen a set last 60k, which was pretty impressive. But that was mostly soft driving. The set on my car are around 20k, and they are getting a bit smooth...

I've done around 35000km on mine, the rears funnily enough are the most worn Some of that is from negative camber though.

I get about 15k from a set. My car has completely original suspension and it's done 270k

The pressure I'm running are right, I'm getting even wear across the tyre. Some sections around the tyre have different wear rates, indicating worn shocks.

They're on my daily driver, so they get driven around town with the occasional spirited drive. With that said they can still cop a bit of a beating around town

I think i'll be investing in some new suspension parts...

    Hey

Ive had a few sets now not all on the same car. I think 28ks was the max showing plenty of steel . i just dont have the money spare to buy them any more, but i still love them.

So does the car tend to track and wander a little bit.

Mine have probably got about 30,000km on them, can't remember exactly when I got them fitted but the fronts were wearing faster than the rears, so I rotated them front to back about 10,000km ago, still heaps of tread left on the old rears (now fronts) so should be able to get another 20-30k out of them

Thats on a 205/45/R16, which Bridgestone don't make in a GIII anymore, you have to get the Adrenalins instead

Not thats really noticable. you can take your hands off the wheel on a level road and it will track dead straight

There's still 48 195/60/14 G3 in Adelaide Adrenalins aren't made in a 14, minimum they make is a 15, so I'd have to buy bigger wheels if I was to go to them.
