has anyone put a dual entry ct26 onto a st165 motor in a st162 body?

don't know anyone that's done it, but in theory it should be pretty simple and should fit no problems once you modify the manifold/flange to suit it

it can be done, however you will need to modify the oil lines coming from the block as the gen1 lines wont bolt onto the twin entry.

    good luck

was able to keep my driver side thermo fan after triming some clearance in the shroud with snips but dump pipe forces you to relocate driver side fan to front of radiator

thanks for all the feed back.

no worries about the fan on d/side, dont have one there anyway.
just worried about the p/side as my angine bay is cramped as it is.

finally got the turbo today, should have car back by the weekend, mech said,
will be good to take it for a drive again, it's been 6 week's of misery

still haven't got the car back yet, mch having room problems with the aftermarket manifold and turbo setup.
the turbo seem's to be to close to the starter, and the oil filter housing.
gos this is s*@ting me, i wont my car back!

how are you going about it?

You say aftermarket manifold, as in one of the Aussie manifolds (or replica's)

You may have to move the wastegate actuator around a bit, i know i am going to have to move mine in towards the centre of the turbo.

not sure on exact aftermarket manifold, got it on ebay with the dump pipe.
mech is taking his time with it and is peeing me off.
he's said he is going to have to move the acuator to get it to work.
should, HOPEFULLY, have back early next week, but who knows with this guy.
