he builds lots of 3s motors, he might have come across it before.
Basically the only ones im having issues with is the one on the end where the rear main seal is, they sit too high so the sump wont sit flush. pic coming.
PS: this is on a Gen3 3sgte

I remember seeing something about this on here. I think the sump had notch added to it to give extra clearence for the studs.
I think it may have been from TurboRA28 or something.

Thanks for the info guys, i did something pretty simmilar its all sorted now.
on my gen 2 3sgte i had to cut a small section out of the sump.welded in about a 30mmx30mm pocket to give it clearance.this is a normal thing to do with the arp main studs.
