    Default truetrac availability

just wondering where those of you who are running true trac centers in your f-series diffs sourced them from? is there any one in Australia who distributes them? or do i have to order one from rabid chimp? also all the listings i can find have two different part numbers for the f-series 7.5 diff.

Yes it's a copy of the Detroit locker. It's a different type of diff to the TrueTrac, but it's a bit misleading to say it's "better". It may or may not be better, it depends on the intended application. Remember a locker is not an LSD; when it engages the axles are solidly locked together, so there is no "limited slip" action.

Craig - pm me if you're interested in a truetrac. I can also source a lockrite, but I don't have the part number for the f-series (I do for the truetrac)

I don't... I just did a group buy a ways back for ~13 truetracs, and have been on *very* good terms with a supplier since then

who does't love you when you hand them just under $10k cash?

The 2 part numbers are for the front and rear diffs. You want the Front axle model as it has a harder locking action compared to the rear. The Rabid Chimp one is the front model axle.
