lots of sanding and scrapping would be needed then use a good quality pre wash like wax and grease remover type of thing should do the job
hey guys, not sure if this is in the right section, just wondering whats the best method to clean the inside of my car now that its all stripped back to nothing. as currently its full of left over carpet, glue, stuff like that on the roof, sides etc. not sure the best way to tackle it? or just attack it with a scraper and go over with metho or some type of cleaning agent?
cheers for any help!

sweet thanks, what grade paper would you use? or would anything course do the job? will tackle it this weekend, need to get my ass into gear.
Depends what you want to do.
If you want to take it back to metal (or the majority of it anyway) then use paint stripper, 340 grit paper, a scraper, then it will be ready for paint.
If you just want to paint over the already existing paint then use thinners, petrol, or turps to remove the glue, then you can either wet rub it with 1000+ grit paper for a smoother finish, or just go over it with scotch brite. With this method you shouldnt need to prime it either.

prepsol is good for removing any grease etc when you have got all the old carpet out.
