what size exhaust

hi guys,
i was wondering what the best size exhuast is to run a 1ggte engine..
and also what is the smallest size i can run.. Because im doing an engine conversion into a hilux 4x4. and im trying to do it as cheaply as possible so i want to know if it will be possible to use the original exhaust just for a while.

don't think of it in terms of smallest you can run.

stock should be fine for pottering around town until you get a proper sized system.

don't expect it to go fast, and don't push it as there will be no point.

when you put the proper exhaust on, i'd go 2.5 or 3 inch.

2.5 is as big as youll go with press bends anyway - so thats the cheapest/largest size
