Post Superkhana 2008 - Feb 3 Event Entries Open

I'm not sure what the current status of the MaxAction events is, so whether they'll continue in 2008 or not is an unknown, but I haven't seen any news come through.

As an alternative, and because I've been keen to give it a try sometime too, I'm considering entering this years Superkhana events (probably not every one, but who knows).

The first Superkhana is on the 3rd of February, with entries now open.

You'll need a CAMS 2 Speed license or can organise a license on the day (see further details on the below web site), I'm contemplating entering the Feb 3 one. So, if anyone's interested in entering too, it would be great to catch-up.

Hopefully I can get Luke and Mitch to join me for starters

Luke entered his RA40 in the November one, and from all accounts had fun. Some pics of his RA40 are on this site:

I would be interested but my car is not going to be ready until a week after that.

Looks like a challenging track...lots of pictures of people playing in the grass! Also looks like you dont want to get it wrong on some bits...there are curbs around the track!

Yes, does seem to be quite a bit more challenging than the carpark/skidpan type ones. Still, I'm keen to try it. Just need to take it a bit more carefully there I think.

If I do enter, and enjoy it, I'll probably enter some later ones too. So, if you do a later one I might see you there.

I'll be there with the Ra40.

Definitely is a fun course, and you dont have to site there remembering the course through the cones. Some off-camber corners also make it interesting. HP comes into play with some decent straight bits but its not the end all.
RA40 Coupe - Even more Turbo beating ponies.

Thumbs up Re: Superkhana 2008 - Feb 3 Event Entries Open

Have to see if a few more straight bits help me catch that RA40

Without, of course, getting red flag syndrome and going too hot into the following corner

Be quite fun to get it sideways a bit without doing a complete spin :-)

Need to "practice" that a bit though.

Hmm, looks interesting. Might have to see how the finances are looking as to whether the JZA80 can go in.

I'm about to send my application in for the morning session.

I know Luke's entered, and Mitch is planning to. So, there'll be at least a couple of us there.

Yeah I have sent off my application for the morning session too.

Should be good with a couple celicas there.

Well, looks like we're in, and there's quite a full field of cars of all sorts. Even a few other Toyotas I don't know - yet
