boost guage

Hey guys i just wanted to know if the standard boost guage in my ma70 7mgte supra go in 2psi increments, the guage has two notches the second one having 4+ written on it, i was told that it goes in 2psi intervals, is this true?
Can someone explain in detail how it all works?

I dont know if the ma70 are the same as the ga70 digital dashs? But mine is a ga70 dash and it has got the gauge as well. My one anyway, i dont know about yours? actually doesnt measure boost in PSI it measures it some other way i cant remember what way it is now. But if you look at the gauge closely you will see that it proberly says something else beside it like mine does, not PSI.

it says what the measurement is in.... IIRC its mmHG or something like that... and reads in x100 incriments.... so i think the factory guage reads to about 11.5psi....
