Default dismantling SC12/14? tight nuts =)

so.. when dismantling an SC12/14, the nuts that hold the gears to the shaft seem like they are not meant to come off....

how do i make them come off?

putting the lobes in a vice seems like a really bad idea, so... use a soft metal vice guard and clamp the gears themselves?
just use rattle gun with the lobes free?

of course i am assuming that putting it back together will result in no problems at all

has anyone changed the pahsing of the rotors before? is it really that big an issue? (ass-u-ming there are even number of teeth on the gears?

Nah - It's just sitting back together to give me a 'handle' to stick in the vice..

Look at the first picture, you'll notice that there is only 1 bolt in there.
