    Default Ignitions (MSD)

Since my ecu dont have this 2 step rev limiter function, i was eyeing on the MSD products as they have a wide range of products wid different functions for the ignition. as on my side, i dont have much detailled knowledge of what kind of firing that i should opt for and since there are soooooo many models on the MSD web , i would like to seek for you guys' guide on which actually is suitable for my jzx90 cut.... i prefer to use back my stock 1jz coil.. other than that, do recommend me. my main aim is the 2 step rev limiter that i can control it manually wid a turn of a knob.

The MSD DIS series will do what you want. You'll need 6 channels for your 6 ignition coils; unfortunately they don't make a 6-channel version, so you'd need a DIS-4 and a DIS-2 hooked up to the factory ignitor. This will give you 2-step but it's a pretty expensive way to do it.

He forgot to mention that he uses a LT10s which is 4 outputs so 3 outputs in wasted spark. DIS-4 and use 3 channels should do it.

What are you using the aux input for on the LT10s for again?

Ah yes, with waste spark a single DIS-4 unit is the go; that's what I'm using on my 2JZ.

aah ok. Do you NEED cold start air open valve? I just crack throttle a tad and it was fine. Heaps of other MT users have done the same.
