4200 from SSS Automotive. Thats is a manual cut though with the r154...

Auto goes for around 3500...

hahaha now that would be fun. lol there is a guy in the WA selling a complete the complete 1jz setup for a supra for 1700. may be worth considering. shipiing wouldnt leave it anywhere near 4000, but i guess there is a few other things that may need to be purcahse on the side. Jamie

if the cars in decent nick and u do all the work urself u could make money of it with either a 7m or 1j but the money u make is just gonna cover what it cost and ur time/labour etc

if u have some spare time to kill and want a project then yeah go the 1j but i personally wouldnt do it unless i wanted to keep the car for myself, that being said i know of ppl who do 1j conversions on cressidas and sell them off. They make a few bucks off it but theyve done a few and know what there doing

1j swaps into ma70s are one of the most covered conversion, theres lots of write ups on how to do it, what u need etc... have a search around (google?) and see for yourself whats involved before u make any decisions

the car is in brissy, greenbank way. yeah i think selling it is deffinatly a viable option. i have been offered a grand for it and that is wat has made me start weighing up if i think it is worth the effort. ill contact the mechanit and ask for a few picies so all can see what i am working with. n e one in qld with a 7mge engine sitting in thier backyard gathering dust??

Ok its settled, i am gonna replace the 7M *drum roll* With A (wait for it).... 7M!!!!!
seems like the easiest option for a car i will be sending on its way. would love to part it out but since its not in my hot little hands and i have no place to keep it, it kinda all needs to go at once.

soooo on that note... Does anyone have a spare 7MGE lying around? please Pref in brissy
