my cars a bit off an on with the power lately.

few little changes and it keeps hopping back and forth between "boring 266rwhp mode" and "oh shit, WTF?!?"

i think it must be the extra 4 pounds of boost ahhahaha.

trying to work out this boost controller + e-manage

    i will be there.

my engine is on its way out and i dont want it to damage the head when it lets go, so i dont want the down on power issue to be anything important like the metal parts hehe.

    hopefully ill sort it out.

Thumbs up Re: OST drag night - Wed 20 Feb 2008

I should make it down alright as the training should be finished by 4:30/5pm Weds.

Think I may have tracked down a leak on my inlet side (rough idle) and replaced old/squelling/loose fan belt, so a few last minute tweaks before I put on the MA61 rims/rubber tomorrow night.

I'll put the TA22 racing jacket on too for a bit of added aerodynamics

Speak to GU11TY. I had a similar thing happen to my old Soarer a few years ago but they smashed the left side quater window. Insurance couldn't get a new one from Toyota in Aus or Japan so I had to buy one from GU11TY's stock pile of Soarer parts and insurance (Shannons) refunded me the cost of it as they wouldn't buy it from GU11TY on my behalf.
Hope you can get one locally but I think you might be pushing the brown stuff.

Haha, I knew it. When I installed my stereo there was little bits of window glass under the seats I figured that's what might have happened.

Well hopefully I'll still be coming down, maybe only to spectate though. I left the cas last night and heard a weird slapping noise so I pulled over the check it out and there was a screw in my tyre. Tyre is still inflated so I just left it in there for now, bit dodge I know but gotta wait until next week until I can replace it and I don't think it's really a good idea to take it on the track with a screw in the tyre

Good work Damo - looks like you've even arranged perfect weather for us.
    Should be a good evening.

To all those who think their car is too slow to run don't worry - my last outing (with a dead stock 5MGE MA61) was 17.4
I'm hoping for some improvement this time...

    Regards
