Yeah, my comment's just tongue-in-cheek. Come down and have fun and just enjoy learning what it's all about. You could be a natural, etc. but doesn't matter either way.

Apparently, I should be quicker, so I'm still working things out after a few times down.

How quick with a 3TGTEU? Who knows? There's lots of factors, besides the engine, like driver (big factor), car setup/weight. And even a given engine type can have different "manners" between cars depending on tune, plumbing, boost, etc.

I've blown away some Supras, which on the surface are the same and powered by the same engine as others, but been blown away by the others. Lots of variation between cars/drivers. I'm not out to win either, but a good time would be nice - before someone hands me a handbag!

This really sucks but I might not be able to make it now. Depends on the car. For some reason between yesterday and today it's leaked out almost all the oil. I'm going to work on it tomorrow and see what's up so I will confirm then.

not exactly dude, i do have 2nd gear now, but for some reason the whole paddle shift setup is not working....the diagnostic program registers the shift via the paddle setup but the supra stick box doesnt make the shift (or send any power to the solenoids), if i leave the laptop plugged in and run the car in diagnostic mode i can change gears using 2 buttons on the laptop as upshift downshift.....so worse case scenario is i run down the strip with laptop on passengers seat.
Took it for a few "test laps" feels very solid with the gear changes and all is good and seems to pull quite hard!! Apart from the fact that i have a bulk load of lag in first gear the car feels quite fast....
Lets hope MPH can achieve a reasonable 1/4 mile time and then next time when i have a hi stall sorted out it should be quite interesting indeed.

    witht he whole laptop thing.

ust remember, if you use nos, your passenger side floor could fall out.

or, in the movie, it could be your side, so just be careful k?
