    Post 1ggte flywheel bolts 4 or 6?

Im doing a manual conversion on my mk3 1ggte and need to to if the flywheels from the jz series clutches fit onto 1g flywheels? and how many bolt holes are there on the 1g flywheels? Are there any differences between the 1gge and gte flywheels or are they the same in terms of strengh and fitting? Also a list of everything needed would be a big help.

    Thanks in advance

    James

    1: No they're different
2: 6 flywheel bolt holes, 6 clutch bolt holes
3: no differences in strength or fitting, however early and late flywheels have different friction surface sizes - the Gen 3 item is the largest.
4: Flywheel, sandwich plate, spigot bearing, flywheel bolts, clutch throwout fork and bearing assembly, clutch slave and master cylinders, clutch, clutch bolts, manual pedal boxes, clutch fluid line, bellhousing, gearbox, tailshaft, testicles, spectacles, socks and jocks, and a voracious use of the search button
    5: thats ok!

    Thanks Clint

I think the best bet would be for me to try and get hold of one from wreckers etc with all the other parts i need, or buy a cheaper manual for donor and use it for parts for mine sometime? Auto to manual swap isnt easy and i budget for $2000 dollars to complete the conversion on top of the parts that i have already got. I think i really need to get hold of a car with all the parts not try to accumulate all of the bits from places.

    I have got so far....

1x w58 spare box (still good)
1x w58 box which will be used in good nick with reasonably low ks
1x 1g bell housing on box
    1x gear shifter on box
and a ma70 4:1:1 ratio lsd with six bolt axles to suit.

Still need a manual driveshaft as well will any g series driveshaft fit fine? and with the different friction surface sizes will that effect the type of clutch i use?

3T and 2T flywheels also fit but are smaller in surface diameter FYi.
(also 2T especially) flywheel is HEAPS heavier.
