Default 2008 Picnic at Hanging Rock Car Meet

Hey hey it's on again.........this time on the 10th of Feb....just thought I would throw it up early so we can get some more people there.

As those who went last year would have to agree this day out is well worth the effort and is only a reasonably short squirt up the highway to Woodend. From what I remember we had about 12-15 cars from the club so it was a good effort that can only be bettered this year .

Here is the link to the Macedon Ranges Car club who run it so more info is available here

No Calder Park breakfast and catch up spot for the slow risers this time so no coffee scrolls either (damn).

Definitely make the effort to get to this as there are enough cars here (2500+) to fill a whole day of drooling. Also bring your own lunch / snacks cos the food is expensive and some of the more resourceful CCCVic members/girlfriends last year went the whole hog with picnic gear etc etc.

    Cheers

You read my mind! I have been meaning to post this up for a little while...i'll draw up a quick plan and post it tonight - I think meeting at Calder and crusing there would be good as it says there is no reserved parking, first in best dressed!

    Yeah, what happened Ian?!

Joey, how's your car running? Haven't heard from you since the engine was put in.

I'll be going to Hanging Rock, won't be bringing the Toyota since no-one would give a fuck about a Cressida... so i'll be bringing the Mini again. Will probably cruise with you Celica schmoes though, if you can keep up.

Zuludan, we'll be LEAVING calder park at 8.30 (on the dot this year) otherwise parking together at hanging rock gets awkward. You wont have trouble finding anything Celica believe me! If you're running late just drive straight through and with luck you'll catch up in time.

What side of town are you from Zuludan?

I'd be interested in meeting people on the Eastern side of town and crusing across together (to Calder).

    Any takers?

Perhaps a shopping town meet again?

Its much more drivable now than it was when u last saw it, has a good idle ect but still needs some fine tuning, (jets ect for the carbies as its running majorly rich *shakes fist in the air*) but hopefully will be sorted before the event fingers crossed.
