    Default Engine light

hey guys i have a ma70 7mgte supra. i just replaced the head gasket, and in the proccess i checked the loom for any severed or damaged wires, the self diagnosis code comes up with the knock sensor and oxygen sensor, i replaced the knock sensor and took out efi fuse to clear the codes off the ECU, i also took out the oxygen sensor and gave it a bit of clean, but the engine light still stays up.
The car is running like a pig, and burning fuel like crazy.
Next thing to do is check the timing incase its timed wrong that might cause a knocking.
I am out of ideas, any tips would be appreciated.

check afm, if your computer cant read/get a good signal it will dump fuel in and be down on power and wont want to rev at all.

    any symptoms like that?

definately sounds like O2 sensor, i fried mine once after a good thrashing and the engine light would stay on.

It ran so rich that id get a big black patch on my bumper after a days drive and when i floored it i left a thick black cloud behind. And like u described ran like shit, used shit loads of fuel

Got the sensor replaced and no more engine light, no more black smoke
