Default Replacement RA23 Front lower control arms

I'm thinking of replacing my front lower control arms that hang from the cross member in the '23.

    A few questions

    A) Is there ANY benefit in going to something else that is bigger/better/better adjusted?

    B) Is there anywhere I can buy NEW versions of the 23 ones?

    C) Is there anything in those parts that could wear that would make them worth replacing or should I just clean, paint, grease and replace?

why? what do you want to gain? more track? more camber?

if none of the above, just replace the bushes and the BJ's

Coming from working in a Parts Department, I think if you went in to a Toyota Parts Department and asked for new RA23 LCA's, you'd find there is either no listing on them, or if there is a listing, they are generally obsolete or no longer available, as is the case with parts from alot of older model cars.

I think best bet would be to try some Toyota wreckers or see if you can find someone parting one out. But they might be able to point you in the right direction of where to source some.

well there are points to be gained, but you have to ask yourself why you want it in the 1st place,

do you want more track from the front end,.... or are you trying to get fully sick neg camber to get fully sick sims inside the guards? or camber adjustments for track work...

youd be lucky to find a set of NOS...

Actually, truth be known Blake, I THINK I might need to get a different sized set to OFFSET the installation of the new cross member and steering setup.

BUT, That's only a maybe, it was more of a question of while I have them out.

Likely hood is I'll do squat and just clean them up.
