depends on your engine, how much has your head/block been machined, head cc, piston crown height and desired compression ratio. Also some T series head gaskets are just made to 80mm bore and this will need to be factored in.

Gasket thickness is based upon the clearance from piston to head. Some engines that I've done have the pistons "out of the hole", because they've been decked a lot (previously). I like to run them from 1.25mm (std), down to about 0.75mm (NOTE: that's clearance, NOT HG thickness).

210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.

Get good engine management, remove the dizzy and run coil packs. Face the T/B forward and enjoy.

good engine management = one that does what you want it to do and one that your tuner wants to use. What you want if fuel, spark and the ability to run coil packs (which I think ALL of the regular aftermarket computers do), sequential injection would also be nice.

I run the same ECU as turbotoy. Not too bad considering I was able to resuse all my existing haltech bits... Picture of my Plenum as follows:

I run the haltech halleffect sensor with a modified dizzy base that holds a custom made wheel which holds the rare earth magnets.. Nothing overly complex but required a bit of planning.

definitely do away with standard dizzy...

Looking good. This motor relay responds to new intake and exhaust manifolds. I didn't go the modified stock dizzy because I always knew cams were going to be different then factory. I had to use crank sensor and cam lobe sensor.

Just putting a call out again for a Fuel/Ign Map for a low comp 3TGTE with std injectors. Anyone got something decent? Mine idles and revs alright but could be 10x better. Massivly appreciated if anyone can help.
