Default Idling Problem still here after a good service

Hey guys, how are you all?

It seems like after a change of the following

    Spark Plugs
    Engine Oil
    Coolant
    Power Steering Oil
    Air Filter

I'm still faced with an idling problem.

At cold start, the car idles at 600-700 RPM, when it gets warmer, just before it is "warmed Up" the idle suddenly kicks to 1.3K to 1.4K Rpm... this stays until i've diven for a short distance, come to a COMPLETE STOP with the Handbrakes up.... then a few seconds later, it drops back down to 1Krpm and stays at 1K for the whole Journey

Funny thing is that if i dont have my handbrake up, it continues to idle at 1.4K for a VERY long time. I had to bring the car to a complete stop and disengage on all peddles.

I've checked the intake for leaks, and it dont seem to have any, so i'm out of ideas.

    BTW i have a Gen2 3SGE in a ST162 Celica. Its a complete Gen2 with Intake and ECU

Check the throttle positioning sensor on the intake manifold to see if its within spec's.

I cant see how the handbrake could be related. Try checking the flap on the AFM (air flow meter) which is located just after the airbox. It may be gettin a bit stuck in places & needs a good clean. Stopping the car might coincidently be moving it a bit???

Otherwise check your coolant temp sensor has the correct resistance across it.

And check ISCV/IACV (idle speed/air control valve) for both resistance, and cleanliness of the valve.
    meh...

temove the plug to the idle motor
these always play up on 3sg

if the idle changes then the motor is workin
if no idle change then its stufffed or seized

3sgs are the worse engines for idling
the throttle body always gets gunked up

remove throttle body and clean it thoroughly
