Howdy again folks...

As you've all probably noticed, this forum integrates a reputation system in which users can 'vote' on the value of another forum member's contribution to a thread.

The Tech and Conversions forum is probably the most vital area in which reputation voting should be used, encouraging the ongoing contributions of posters with experience, knowledge, training, and true value to add to these forums. It is also to be used to discourage spamming, shitfights and flamewars, and general misbehaviour.

As such, this 'rep' should be based on the quality of information converyed in a post, whether it be a post in answer to your own question or not. If you find the information you read informative, full of great tech info, provocative (in an intellectual sense), or just plain interesting to read, rep it!

Its simple really, give rep to anyone who you feels deserves it. There are lots of posts out there where i see a lot of valuable postings, and yet the rep counts of members are not reflective of the quality of information being shared. Dont be lazy or shy, this is your job, your contribution to ensure the ongoing quality of these forums.
