my rods have a number 3 stamped on the side of them. Does this mean the tunnel size is 45.000 ~ 45.008?
1G conrod specs - tunnel size?
I sent my 1ggte conrods off down to the local engine shop to try and get the big ends honed so the rods match the caps. I told the bloke that my crank is 22mm and I will be using Toyota 4K bearings. However, he says he needs the tunnel diameter of the 1G rod as he says if he hones them to 4K specs they will be too tight or something. Its my first engine build, can anyone help with the tunnel diameter?
