Postage from nationals. Hell yeah!!!
Hi all,
Well, we are at Dubbo now, was a fairly uneventful trip here, we left Lobethal at about 9.30 Thursday night, drove to Broken Hill to meet up with Jordan, Terry, Brian and Megan, got there about 4am, and had to sleep on the floor in the back room with the air con on flat out ( >Jordan doesn't like the heat). After about 3 hours' sleep (for Andrew and myself anyway) we got up and after a quick breakfast at McDonalds we headed off. Let me tell you, it is a long boring drive, with absolutely no mobile phone reception between Broken Hill and Dubbo (for Vodafone anyway it's marginally better for Telstra). We got here in time for the traditional pizza dinner and welcome, and after that went to bed reasonably early.
Today we had the show and shine, it seemed there weren't as many cars as last year, but there was another car show on the same oval, so we were pushed into the corner a bit. Some of the cars were there from last year, and some were new. Of particular note to me was seeing the Celica GT8 from Toymods, which has been recently had a supercharger added in addition to the twin turbochargers.
Anyway, on to the photos:
That bellmouth is the tubo intake:
Got dish?
The GT8, you can see the supercharger and one of the turbos:
A nice RA28:
Old-school cool:
The reverse of a drive-in:
The back of Norbie's V12 Century, there is a VHS video player, seat massagers, fully electric rear seats, and much much more, just check out the switch bank in the centre console, and there were more in the door:
That's about it for now, I will post more pics from the motorkhana tomorrow, hopefully it won't rain.
Cheers for now,
Ian.
Hey what time is the khana tomorrow?

Just home around an hour and a bit ago.. BIG thanks have to go out to Grant, Danae, Dave and the rest of the Nationals crew (as well as all the attendees!) for making it a fantastic Toyota Nationals. Although numbers were a little down on last year I think I can safely say that everyone who put in the effort and still made the trip seemed to have an awesome weekend. Lots of shit was spoken, bevvies were consumed, and sexy Toyotas were perved upon.
Special thanks also to the guys from Toyota Car Club from SA for not only going to the effort of making sure the motorkhana happened, but also mking the HUGE trek up to Dubbo. It's not exactly around the corner for you all, and I don't think there was anyone in attendance that doesn't appreciate all your hard work.
Am hanging out to see more pics & vids from the weekend so post them all up people!!!
Look forward to seeing you all at the next one,
