It's ok. I need +8000rpm meter for the black one anyway...Jayem, a shame your car is LHD, as the tacho dash from the liftback is reasonably easy to get here.
Are JDM fender mirrors how rare over there?
These ones.
I think it's the same as the XT130.Originally Posted by cambelt1

Yes, the JDM mirrors are rare. I lost the pad/gasket between one of my mirrors and I could not find a replacement!Originally Posted by Jayem
In the end I bought a new pair of mirrors from NZ that are similar but not identical to the original ones. Since then I have been offered a pad from Thailand and a complete pair of mirrors from NZ. NZ seems to be a good source!

Here are the pics of the diff! Amazing the tailshaft used on it, i have never seen one like it!
and it has baffles on the inside, and i could not belive the width of the bearings on it!

Well, I for one am interested in pics of the car (interior, underbonnet, build plate) not the diff!
That car is an extremely rare and interesting model. It seems a shame to pull the diff out of it it, if the car is essentially complete and savable.![]()

Diff looks like an MA46/47 diff. Better pics of calipers would be sweet.
I'd like to see pics of car, interior and build plate.
why the hell are the axle bearings so freaking huge? can you get me a close-up pic of that? My bearing weren't that big![]()
beer me!
The diff is for my ra28, 1jz conversion
The engine i sold to a friend (sorry to all corona lovers) and the body on the car is in a very sorry state. all the guards are mangled, doors are dead with rust cancer, 2 windows are broken, and the grill is missing, along with all the badges.
the car is now at my mates place, he puchased it off me for the twin piston calliper front brakes i will drive up to get more photos when i can, providing he still has it when i see him next! the dash and interior is identical to the standard model i belive, will see if i can get photos, steve

MS112 diff has bearings that wide. So does the MA45/6/7. I got a quote for them - something silly like $300 a couple years back.Originally Posted by joecoolmk2
Yes, the bearings are massive! i wanted to go to my mates house to get photos today and he said the car was towed to a wrecker yesterday morning! im spewing im currently trying to find the wrecker where it went to get the photos you guys requested, but im pretty sure this diff was stock in this RT132 import. The callipers are exactly the same as my ma46 diff, tiny little pistons and pads, i will be changing them to the RT 142 avante discs and callipers.
Anyone explain the factory baffles inside the diff? And the crazy shockproof rubber tailshaft (front end with many oval rubbers) its like a truck tailshaft.

yep bearings look the same as my ms112 diff ones. and $300 is what i paid for them as well!
Thanks, i am contemplating changing the brakes to RT141 avante ones that i already have on my T series, but unsure as it will be mainly for track use, motorcarnas mainly, for locking up the rears via the handbrake, what would be better, a separate drumb handbrake inside the disc (RT141) or the standard brakes in which the handbrake utilises the pads on the main disc (RT132)

Integrated drum is usually shiteloads better that on caliper handbrakes.
