Agreed, I can't get past 300wkw with my 3076 at 20psi, with stock motor & cams. But the response is brilliant.

Alot of ppl will tell you that the 3082 is not a great turbo as the compressor housing doesnt push enough to justify the rear? or something like that...

The 35r is a better designed turbo. I spose to 6boost when choosing my turbo and he said 3076 or 3582... I decided the 3582...

Phil, you just reminded me i need a new map sensor

yea thats what im thinking atm, just go the 3582, do you have cams on your setup? what managment?
    atm, stock management, stock cams,
    safc and 15psi.
( i only just did the conversion not long over a week ago )
i see 15psi at 4k exactly according to my sbc i-colour and according to the graph, wouldnt be much higher revs for any more boost by the shape of the curve

iam going 440's out of a 2j within the next week with plans of 20psi.
will let u know how it goes.

i think manifold choice is very important when considering the whole package

You might be able to drive a 1j with a gt35r with a .82 housing at the next prac day if we are both lucky

trust mani, with a modified flange to fit the garrett

just wound the boost up to 19psi.
    goes soo freakin hard.
would assume it would be around the 300rwkw mark.

full boost by a smidgen after 4k

Pato, you have a 1J yeh? I have a GT35r with a .82 rear (assuming you ment .82 instead of .86 last page?) and with a 6boost mani, and 3" dump + cat and muffler, i seem to see 9psi by around 4k... WIth a tune, i expect that will come down a lil, but not heaps...

Should i expect to see 19psi by something around 4k aswel than? Cause that would be scary fast ;lol
