    well i want to go EFI
    where would you guys say would be the best place to pick one up from
    i was thinking about going to the wreckers and sticking my head under a few later model celicas but is there any easier way?

    Try and get yourself a 18rgeu injection setup. Or a 18rgeu inlet manifold with runners and go get yourself an aftermarket ecu, a megasquirt if you keen is a cheap enough option

    There are other plenum options im sure, but again, all this info can be had witha search! This has been covered a billion million times before!

    Your chances of finding 18R-GEU parts at the wreckers are practically nil. Keep your eye on the classifieds here on Toymods and also eBay, stuff occasionally comes up for sale but they're not exactly thick on the ground.

    Your other option is to go with custom hardware (eg DCOE pattern throttles on the original carby manifold) but that's only if you have deep pockets.

    As Norbie said. I picked up an 18R-GEU setup complete minus ECU (but included loom) for $330 delivered. Megasquirt wasnt all that dear, and would have been cheaper if I didnt go with a wideband oxygen sensor also.
