7mge engine coolant bung

i'm looking for the bung on the back of the motor to drain the coolant and having trouble finding it. Looked at the mk3 TSRM and it has a very vague picture thats not much help. Can anyone help?

It is on the exhaust side towards the back at about the same height as the filter.

yeah its there, about 17mm bolt head i think. any particular reason why? you can drain most of the water from the radiator bung.

awesome guys that should help! I want to do a full drain because its got a cheap shitty coolant in it, and i bought the good red stuff from toyota. Last time I drained from the radiator there was still a fair bit of the cheap coolant left.

if you take the radiator hoses off and just chuck the hose running in the top inlet with the motor just idling you can flush it easily without having to try and get at that drain bung. it's in a pretty ass postion.
