Daily - Prado 90series
Work - T908 620hp Cummins ISX
Shed - 1975 TA22 2TG
it runs a crank angle sensor with aftermarket coils + leads run on a motec, I had the leads marked but the ink came off.Originally Posted by Snyper

ok now ive got the thing driving it sounds like it only runs on 4 cylinders, on idle its hard to tell if its right or not because of the cams. Now as stated above i run aftermarket coils/computer and a crank angle sensor, is anyone able to tell me how to diagnose a problem like this? + to make it more difficult there is only 3 coils

output 1 to coil for 1-6, output 2 to coil for 2-5, output 3 to coil 3-4.
make sure the coils and leads are grouped as above or you will have a miss (and probly run on 4 like yours)
check leads first then trace the wires back to the ecu.
diagrams can be found on the motec site.
cheers
