    Default w5* series gearbox shifters

    Hey all,

Just a quick question so i dont stuff up the ordering again.... The JZA80 supra is the only W series box to use the remote cantilever assembly for the shifter? I recently ordered a TRD short shifter to suit a W58 but it must be for the remote assembly as there's no way it'll fit the internal shifter housing.

Looks similar to this with a ring bit at the end instead of the ball i was expecting:

I'm safe with a GA70/MA70/JZA70 short shifter to suit an internal type shifter? I tried asking them if it'll suit a W57 but they only have the car chassis listings, not the gearbox types.

And if anyone's interested, i'll probably have the JZA80 TRD shifter for sale soon.

    Eddie.

Does look like you have a MK4 shifter.

R154 and W55-58 shifters are all interchangeable.

some of the later r154s arent interchangeble with the w5X series as they use the rot type,
    you need the ball type.

Thanks all...plus reps all round. So the MA70/GA70/JZA70 supra shifters will be fine for all internal types then.
