Sure thing! Apart from two minor problems. 1) My car is at a workshop 2) I lost my license for 3 months

On the flip side, the damage to my cylinder head has been repaired (bent valves, cracked valve guides) and a mechanic is going to be putting the head back on and timing it for me. I don't know if you guys remember, but the short of it is, one of my cam timing gears shattered into 3 pieces and ended up in my sump. Bummer! I was told that was pretty unlucky. What can you do?

Now I'm also assuming that most of you will think I'm a sissy for taking my car to a workshop instead of fixing it myself, but I actually did all the grunt work of pulling everything apart, some guys off here have helped me out with advice and where to get parts, and will be putting everything back together after the mechanic has finished timing the head on Monday.

But thats why we own these crappy old cars right!? We love it!!

Oh and I can probably get my brother or someone to drive me, so not having a license shouldn't be a problem.

We can do James. Do you know of any good meeting places around the gap, say on waterworks road? Like a carpark of sorts that wont be too busy on a sunday.... im having trouble finding one in my refidex hence why the meeting point is still a "TBC"
