Gaskets, O Rings and other misc for Turbo + Injector Upgrade
Im gathering parts for an upgrade on my 7m to high flow turbo/550/1uz afm mod and I will need to replace gaskets due to the unknown age and reusablity of some of the units. Together with Mux from these forums this following list has been suggested
Exhaust side gaskets:
- Turbo to manifold
- Turbo to exhaust dump.
Inlet side gaskets:
- Throttle body
- Idle control
- new rubbers for injectors
- copper washers for fitting's on fuel rail. (multiple fittings)
Turbo seals / gaskets:
- oil / water lines on turbocharger (Possible make out of
gasket paper)
- oil hi pressure fitting block side needs new copper washers
So i called castlehill toyota and they sent me this pic of a gasket kit they can provide
To those that have done this surgery, what other gaskets/etc will I need?

The turbo to manifold gasket wont need replacing its a hard copper type gasket/plate
.

excellent, i had a feeling that you mentioned the orings were included.
If it comes with the kit as stated above ill replace it any way.

Copper gaskets can be anealed if they're still in good condition. Just heat them up evenly until cherry red and drop them into a bucket of water.

the dropping in water does nothing... there is no need to quench. it is only the heating that has effect of recovery and recrystallisation.

well i ordered the gasket kit from castle hill toyota, everything is falling into place ;-)

Yeah i was gonna say just get a gasket kit, it comes with all those gaskets and washers you mentioned. I just got one for my 7M and everything was included. I have the head gasket left over though because I used a Cometic, which I got for 230 bucks.
