Looking at the parts catalogue there should be an engine breather there that goes to the pcv valve and then to the balance tube
Hi guys, I've got a 2nd had 2tgeu and am going to replace the old 2t in my TA22.
I was wondering if you guys could tell me what goes there?
On the engine I have it has what looks to be a fuel tube coming off a brass tap?
thanks
David

So basically it should connect to the Carb in the end?
Howdy David,
Nothing goes there, ignore it. Any other questions during the swap send me a pm or give me a call.

so then I can remove the line and tube?
Originaly there was a engine breather pipe connected via a pcv valve to the balance tube but seeing that you have not got that tube fitted it is pointless. It all depends if you want it as per original or you dont want any pollution gear or positive crankase ventilation. As it looks now you are just running a bodgy hose from the rocker cover into the intake manifold. That will certainly be leaning out the fuel mixture to the front 2 cylinders.
Thats my opinion anyway.

Sorry Guys I forgot to mention that the Picture is just for the location, this was actually one of Jezz's old motor. It was just such a good view of the side of the engine. I'll try and get a proper photo tmrw in some light
Sorry for the confusion
As already mentioned, it is a crank case vent and you can steal the one of your 2T and use it on the TG
Cheers Simon
Thanks very guys will block it off with the plate from the old 2t
