Is that lobe lift or cam follower lift??
I've taken some measurements off my 1JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GTE JDM cams:
1JZ-GTE Exhaust Cam: Peak ~7.98mm @ ~328Deg
1JZ-GTE Inlet Cam: Peak ~7.72mm @ ~34Deg
2JZ-GTE JDM Exhaust Cam: Peak ~8.67mm @ ~328Deg
2JZ-GTE JDM Inlet Cam: Peak ~8.08mm @ ~41Deg
Base circle ~36mm.
These values seem to differer from the quoted values, so I double checked the max lifts with a micrometer, and got within about 0.03mm from all 4 of my dial gauge recorded readings...
Anyway these are just the values that I recorded... I wouldn't base anything too important off them
I'm happy to email the excel spreadsheet with my measurements to anyone that wants it, just let me know. And if someone wants to host it that is OK by me too.
Cheers

Top work Wilbo. you got my email address don't you?
Now grab that exhaust cam off Pete for the US spec one![]()

Can you please send me the excel sheet. I have a program that converts lobe lift to valve lift. All I need is the lobe lift + the base circle diameter which you have already stated above.
Thanks Andrew.

Some very good info there.

Only question I have is compared to official stats for 2jz, the only thing could be if they are US stats, I'd rather have proven tested info (yours) than some unknown webpage:
Valves: efi/twin cam/24v
Intake valve dia. 33.5 mm
Intake valve lift 7.8 mm
Exhaust valve dia. 29.0 mm
Exhaust valve lift 8.4 mm
Intake opening 3 deg BTDC - 41 deg ABDC
Exhaust opening 52 deg BBDC - 4 deg ATDC

Seems a lot of people list a lot of different values...! The good thing about doing something yourself is that you get to find out for yourselfStock Factory O.E.M. specs (2JZ-GTE) for turbo 248 / 248 200 / 204 .338" inch .346"

Also sorry yes did see how you mentioned they differ, just wanted to know why
Found a good sheet with an overview of all 2jzgte engines, good to get all the figures! Link here: http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/en/...ZA80/jza80.htm

The figures that others have in my opinion must be wrong...
The EPC lists only 1 exhaust camshaft for the 2jz-gte, and 2 inlet camshafts for the 2jz-gte (one JDM, one USA)...
So I find it a bit disturbing that there are so many 2jz-gte lift values floating around...either my EPC is wrong or some of the measurements floating around are wrong (and hey that might be mine!)...!
...I'd personally take em out to save cluttering the thread, leave a link in you want, but it doesn't really bother me either way
Btw if anyone has a 2jz-ge inlet camshaft I'd be interested in seeing how that stacks up, and if the 2jz-ge inlet cam can fit the 1jz-ge and 2jz-ge heads (the exhaust cam won't fit because of the dizzy drive gear but the inlet might?)...

Done mate. Yes there are so many figures out there floating around, but I'd rather measure them myself or get the measurements you have taken then some unconfirmed internet stats. As an example they call my paint code Grayish Green Mica Metallic (6NO) when it's real Toyota colour is Moonstone Pearl (6NO), so you can never be sure info is going to be 100% correct on the intraweb!Originally Posted by wilbo666
Will check my manuals and EPC at home tonight and see what they say.

The ones I used to ref off were these:
I knew there were plenty of values floating about, but its nice to have some solid figures ( I love how they use "ish" on some figures). I'm tempted to measure my HKS 264 IN/EX ones now. I thinks I need a micrometerIntake Exhuast
