    Default ta22 suspension upgrade info?

hey guys, wondering if anyone could share some info?

i've got a standard ta22 and the handling is shithouse!

from what i've read, sounds like i need to go the "king springs", "kyb shock", "whiteline swaybar" route.
however... i can only afford to do one thing at a time.

i'm wondering if it's possible to do one thing at a time and what i should start with first.
what i'm wanting is a slightly lower, slightly stiffer ride than stock.

i guess i will need to know:
    how much it costs?
what are the exact parts (part numbers) i need?
    where to buy from?

any other info i haven't asked about?!?

    thanks in advance

I've got kings (lows I think) and aftermarket dampers all around don't really like them as they're too soft for serious hills and track work. but for day to day they'd be good I guess. They came on the car when i bought it almost a year ago. I believe they were installed after 2004.

The dampers are in great shape, no leaks, plently of damping, and of course the springs are uncut yellow kings

Let me know what your offer is as I'm moving on to a more serious setup.

    Cheers

I would upgrade in the following order:

    1. Replace all bushes, ball joints etc as they're all probably worn out now.
    2. Decent set of shocks. Don't skimp here, fork out for something decent like Koni adjustables. You will probably need to adapt something from a different car, I doubt they have a listing specifically for a TA22, but I have a feeling AE86 shocks will work.
    3. Springs. Don't bother with Kings, they might be lower but they won't be much stiffer than the factory springs. Get something about 50% stiffer than factory, I don't know what's available off the shelf but other TA22 owners should know.
    4. Swaybars. Adjustable would be good if you can get them.
