well, seeing as an AE111 can do a high 14 with light mods and a good driver.
id say a good tunable ECU will be all you need.

Try taking out the interior, doors roof floor etc to drop the weight.
I'm pretty sure building a NA 20v to make that sort of power would be exxy. You might just scrape into the 14s.
Tbo would be preferable if 13s is what you want.

A bottle of NOS will get you there, and Silvertops are cheap enough to "test" a few while you work out how big to jet it
The spanner in my avatar is actually a 16mm, that's why it's still new

    wtf

    why so negative?
in a lightweight ae82 a silvertop with a GOOD tuned ecu should do it, may need an lsd.
    as i said, near stock ae111s (levin/treuno BZ-V) can do a high 14 with a good driver.
the stock tune on a silver top is crap, a decent tune will gaina massive amount of power/torque. seeing as the averge ae82 is a few kilos lighter than an ae111 your away laughing!

    agreed^^^^
a decent ecu and a well built/designed exhaust system should get you there if you know how to drive it well.

whats the weight of the car? actual weight not what the rego says.

maybe LSD and some decent tyres would help also but it depends on your budget.

    cheers

A certain AE-93 seca here with a 20V ST has a record 14.2 at the 1/4 mile...all he's got is a very healthy motor, a VVT controller, some induction and mods and a good set of tuned extractors. To achieve this, he's lightened the interior (rear seats, parcel shelf, spare tyre, passenger seat, the usual), and semi-slicks in front.

i'd say the starting point is to make sure you've got a healthy 20V to begin with.
Research has shown child in front seat causes accidents, accident in back seat causes child
