not sure what happened on the first run, heatsoaked second run, didn't play with straps or change boost for any runs (only 17psi and auto ) just stabilised the cooler, but im happy none the less.

it would probly be a good idea to have a most improved in 2 classes ie: 1 being same engine and the other being for engine swaps and such.

    cheers

That's a stupid amount of power from that engine!

Is it reliable? Does it run ok as a daily street car, or is it a mongrel?

And, are you looking to get more power out of it? Are you aiming for anything, such as 300kW? Like, there's got to be a limit where that engine size just can't produce more power without blowing itself apart.

Oh, and congrats on the output and beating your PB.

the car could be used as a street driven car i have a road tune for it which pumps around 200kws at the wheels. As for realiable have not had any major issues with the car for ages. I have been to about 5 or 6 toymods dyno days with that same setup.

I am not really looking to hit 300kws your right how much futher can i go. To be honest after about 10yrs of doing the car up iam starting to get over it.

    cheers for your comment dude

Settle down Dan he's not having a go at you simply pointing out facts. Bill was running 98 pump fuel and you were running 110. You made more power, that's all there was too the post.

Yes you have rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way and there are a lot of people who are far from your fans but I'm not too sure that there's any reason to be going off like that. The fact is that most people in the know would have a good idea of who's going to run 260KW+ out of a 4A, so there is not much need to put a name with it. If someone new was to run that kind of number it would definately have needed specifying the owner.

As to why you're a member of the club I can't say I'm too concerned, everyone has something they want to get out of membership.

I respect what you say but at the end of the day dude i have grown up alot since i started doing my car up to the point that iam just about over it.

People need to build a bridge and get over it i think jeliously plays a big part in it.

So at the end of the day my true friends know what iam like and thats all that really counts.

err.. i read it as being a report on what happened...

ie, someone made a good number on pump fuel (which is impressive), but then a certain well known 4A came and smashed that (which although it was using special fuel, is also very impressive) (i don't know you, but i knew which 4A he was talking about )

i think you need to re-read the post without ego(?) getting in the way... if you hadn't piped up with your last few posts, i would have never have thought of it any other way...
but now it sounds like you are harbouring many issues with people in the club?
and sounds like you may still have some growing up to do....?

the dyno car mover kid had to have just about as many tries startin and backin flyinsx's rolla into the cell as he did with my ta22....and mine's a daily lol

i'm happy my na 2tg celica got 57kw (just about stock powa), i was just waitin for the thing to blow. it'd make more if i could actually be arsed and hooked up an electric fuel pump, as its currently runnin a 2t mechanical one. considerin it's never been tuned in any way, shape or form since i whacked the motor in my car i guess i should be happy with 57kwatw.

    ahh well that sucks...
but... if that is the reputation and interaction with the community that you have built up for yourself... just you deciding you don7t want it to be that way doesn7t make everything suddenly change...

did you really do so much to piss everyone off?

i cannot imagine that if you were a reasonable bloke and walking about talking in a friendly way to people.. that there would be any tensions, even if you had been an arsehole in the past.....

anyway, enough of your problems i want to hear more stories abotu cars from the day

and vids if anyone has them!!

Bill's 2ZZ really surprised me with the amount of power it punched out on pump. Kudos to the guys who worked on it
