Hi,
You talking about the centre bolt that comes out of the throat of the carb and goes through the air cleaner assembly... which uses a wing nut to secure it? That bolt?

Hello
Im looking for a new filter setup - to replace the big air....box intake - Having a little trouble but thats not really my question.
The center stud on the carby needs to be taken out... and an extended stud inserted. I read somewhere that inscrewing the center stud (on some carbs?) will lead to coolant leakage..... is that right for a stock 18rc carb? .. ... . . . then how do i replace it?
thanks
Dave

yep that one. I dont actually have to remove it anymore....
Looks like i cant get a custom intake for that carby? atleast thats what i was told by numerious auto places.
I have made the first prototype out of a bin lid......Vid: http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=mKxqOsiqouM
Gives a louder sound when u give it some - otherwise it sounds quiet ... and stock..
Ill buy another normal airbox and then go at it with a grinder.....
thanks
