Hen,
Where's Drift Fest being held?
Obviously it's not being held at Winton, as there's a Fun Day on at Winton on the 16th of December...
Edit: Just found it... CP Raceway...
VicDrift is putting on a drift practice day at Winton on Saturday December 15th.
You'll get a full day on track, and can receive pointers and advice from some of the state's best drivers while you are there. And special bonuses on the day are:
- All drivers at this event will receive 2 free tickets to Drift Fest the following day. So you can drift up a storm yourself then watch a bonanza of local and international drifters the next day and keep that $50 in your pocket.
- Any drivers competing at drift fest will get half price ($60) entry to the VicDrift day on Saturday as an encouragement to come up and shake-down your car.
- There will be no charge for passengers to ride in any car on track. Though the car must have a rollcage. Normal paperwork will still need to be signed though.
Cost is $120 for VDC members ($130 for non-members) to drive and $15 to spectate.
Driver brieifing is at 9am. Track closes at 5pm.
If you have any questions feel free to drop me a PM.

Yes it is Winton, they have Drifts on the Saturday and the Fun Day on the Sunday
Sorry Trev, I was referring to Drift Fest, not the drift practice...Originally Posted by Big Trev

SR5 dual cab Hilux
265 powered VJ Valiant Charger
I didn't realise that Calder had a drift thing on the Sunday, I have been a bit remote lately - sorry about that.
do we have to book/put our names down. i.e is there a limit to numbers? or can we just rock up on time and roll in?
sounds great, pretty sure me and some mates will be at the winton 'fun day' on the 16th so this would work out well!

No need to book spots for one of these. You can just turn up on the day and sort it all out.
You also need some form of racing license. A year long AASA license can be organised on the day for $45 too.

This being the final event for the 2007 series, there will be series presentations on the day too. All three top spots are still up fofr grabs depending on the outcome of battles on the day.
Plus there will be spot prizes for the most improved driver for the year and the best Christmas car on track.
The comp will be held around the back section again too.
