Default injector opening time - 4agze lowZ injectors

    hi folks,

just curious if any 4AGZE owners that have aftermarket ECU's might know the standard opening time for one of these injectors? and how much that opening time varies with changes in supply voltage?

The MSefi ECU needs to know the normal opening time (time to actually start spraying from ECU turning on the injector driver) to correctly calculate injection duration.

i'm running at the ECU's default of 1m/s but maybe that's not right. Am just a little unsure. With an idle pulse-width of around 1.7m/s, an error of 0.2-0.3m/s will affect idle considerably.

    tia,
    Charles.

Charlie - they will be similar to my injectors, which I worked out to be around 0.8m/s i think.

Check my MSQ in my members ride thread.

thanks Karl - will check your MSQ when i get home.

i forgot to mention that i run them with a resistor pack as the hi-res code doesn't support peak-n-hold.

    ha-ha!!!

They should still be around the 0.8-0.9ms range though. You'll know once you start trying to go lower than that!
