It depends. Some MkI Supras came with an F series diff, some with a T series diff. If yours is an F series you can swap in a centre from a MkII Supra which is also F series.
Hello all,
Need some technical info? Have RT 134 Corona & recently acquired ' 80 Mk1 Supra rear(live) axle w/ disc brakes.Have heard on other forum that Mk11 LSD will fit? Does anyone know if this is so?Seems to not make mechanical sense. An LSD than transfers from IRS to LIVE axle?A little help PLEASE?
Thanks

Am going to open her up tomorrow.Any tips on how to " differentiate between diffs"

T series = 6.7" crownwheel.
F series = 7.5" crownwheel.
Should be easy enough to figure out.![]()

Did your diff come from an MA45 or MA46/7? MA46/7 will have the 7.5" crown wheel, MA45 has the lesser T series.
