so did you recently install the master/slave, or did it just happen and you tried to bleed it to correct it?
it sounds like theres either air in the system or your pressure plates shagged
howdy people since i've left the supra for a few weeks while driving my celica the clutch has become to easy to push in.
I can still change gears and the clutch still works but i can push the pedal in with my finger. Anyone know what it could be.
I've bleed it i think correctly no air was in the tube.

You sure a heavier pedal on the Celica isnt just making you think the Supra's pedal is too light?
Maybe it was always like that but youve just become used to the Celica's?
... it aint such a silly idea.

Indeed. After driving my old Starion around, I nearly put my foot through the floor of my RA60 and I couldn't feel the one in her old Matiz![]()

in nearly every clutch ive bled, they are always absolute BASTARDS to bleed. ive either had to get a 2m clear hose to put over the bleeder nipple, or taken the slave and line off and hold it above the mater while bleeding. are you sure you bled it properly?Originally Posted by Jackel

I did think it could be the celica pedal at first but they seem totally different i didn't think it was that weak before hand

if it also slips under high load, you may have bent some of the pressur eplate fingers...
if it doesn7t slip in high gear/high load.... she'll be roight...
any other suplah pedals you can push for comparison?

yeah in my experiences it was that the slave had to be higher than the master to properly bleed the air, rather than the setup used to bleed the system.Originally Posted by Jackel
does it feel weird, as in when you let your foot off the clutch its like a switch, either on or off.
or when you put your foot down, theres heaps of travel = nothing, then it starts pushing the pressure plate in nearing the bottom of the pedal travel? or is it progressive?
its sounds like it may be normal, and you just got used to the supra

I'm starting to get convinced it was just me driving the celica to long but i will bleed it again over the weekend just to make sure it was done correctly.
