    Default Plenum ITB spacing

I need a Plenum for my 20v Turbo setup, and i was wondaring if the spacing on a SR20DET plenum would be the same as a 20v, i think the GTIR's have ITB.

I don't have access to either of these plenums at this time so if someone could confirm this for me there will be Rep in it for you.

My idea was to get a cheap SR plenum and cut the flanges off and weld the 20V items on, as long as the spacing between the inlet ports are the same it should work a treat.

    Cheers
    Brendan

hey dude, a mate has a set of GTiR ITBS in his shed, i remember looking at them with a view to what you are tlaking about. from memory they were close, but not the same, and the throttle bodies are angled, not straight.

i took some photos, i'll see if i can dig them up.

easier to just make up a plenum though i'd say, GTiR plenum has the air pipe on the wrong side for RWD anyway, unless you weld it on upside down, if you make one out of sheet it will be nice and light (although the GTiR one does have reasonable bellmouths inside it)

Yeah had a look at the IT guys GTIR today at work and it looks like a no go

    GTIR Plenum

    20v (dodge) plenum

The spacing is off, and the distance between the two center ports is wider than the outer ports (un even throughout) so it looks like i will be getting a custom made one.

Shinybluesteel can you TIG weld (hint hint)
