    Default 1g gte fuel pressure.

Got a 1g in a ra60 with a small dry fuel cell in the back going to a vl fuel pump and reg.
Dunno to much about fuel systems but car doesnt run with out the vl reg so ive left it in. I pressumed he reg on the fuel rail conrolled the pressure in the rail. regardless back to the piont.

It still feels slugish so im assuming it doesnt have to correct psi in the rail because everything engine wise is stock bar a hybrid front mount.

What is the correct/ optimum fuel pressure for the 1g and will the vl reg be adjustable enough?

the "reg" on the pump (with the stock vl bracket) is a pulsation damper.

stock rail pressure should be between 35-40psi.

have you hooked the rail up correctly? ie the correct feed and return?

1G's arent fantastic stock so have you driven a car for comparison?

    cheers

the return end of the stock fuel rail has a FPR on it - is it still there?

slightly OT: has anyone tried to adjust the VL pulsation damper? mine seems to have little effect as i can still feel the rail hammering away despite the dampener being just 1foot upstreat of the rail (injectors are 4agze low Z items)?

The rail has one one either end? thats what confused me.
I assumed so might be wrong the one at the front of the motor was the reg due to it having vacuum to it. where as the one at the rear of the motor has a banjo under it and what seems to identicle looking bar no other lines going to it.

And no i havent had a camparission, would be good, im relativly new to these motors.
Just felt a little slugish imo

yes- but they're different things - the feed end (closest to firewall i think) has a pulsation dampener that the fuel feeds thru, the other end exits fuel via the pressure regulator and it has a small vacuum line going to the plenum.
