    Exclamation AE92 Rolla CSi 1992

I just bought it, but he's doing the RWC for it and I'm not getting it for a few more days.

Question 1: Where do the front and rear speakers sit (stock) ? I was told it depends on the year that it could be possible to either sit on on the doors or at the front could sit under the dash..

Question 2: What's the best thing to do? Just modify slightly the 4AFE or get a 4AGE put in? And how much roughly would that cost? Does it fit straight in? And around about how much would it cost to fit mid-range extractors/2inch exhaust and a pod?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm just starting to learn about rollas.

sedan / hatch / liftback?? sedans have it on the parcel shelf, hatch / liftback have it on the sides of the parcel shelf.. front speakers have it under the dash, can't say i've seen any AE-92 that has speakers in the door

the question between 4A-F and 4A-G is what you want out of the engine and how fast you want to go, and how much you want to spend? best bang for buck is a GZE conversion, or GE if you want a hard-revving NA.. 4A-F is good if you have time, money and patience to work it.. do a search and you'll find

It's a hatch.. so are they 6 inch speakers stock?

I'll probably keep the 4-AFE and just do some work on that.. once I learn what I can do with it.

the front dash ones are 4inch from memory, not gonna be able to fit 6's in there. you'll have to hack up the door cards for 6's.

Best option is to buy an SX and not bother converting the 4AFE.
Definitely 4" front speakers stock, you will find them behind the bits of plastic with the little holes in them under the steering wheel and under the glove box. My SE came with no stock rears. I think the rears over the rear struts are usually about 5x7 or something weird, but with odd mounting arrangement. You may be best to make a custom parcel tray out of 15mm MDF and mount some 6" speakers in that for the rears.
Best option for the front is some 6-6.5" splits in custom door pods. You can't fit anything bigger than 4" in the stock front spots anyway.

Fronts are under the dash and 4", rears are 5" from memory.

As to mods/engine swaps, there's waaay too much info to cover to try and spill it in one post here for you, but they're extremely commonly done and talked about, so there's plenty of info around if you search.

Once you've done that and have any specific questions, we'll be able to help.
