thanx for the feedback
looks like ima have to ring up the rta an ask em![]()
Yes you can do it, you will need to get a QLD mod plate.
As for driving in NSW (or anywhere else in aus!) I'd assume that it is fine! (If you have the mod plate!). Good question tho, I'm not sure!![]()
If you wanted to rego it in NSW I'm unsure, you may have to go through the NSW engineering process or they may accept the QLD mod plate? Again I'm not sure.
I don't think I was much help, sorry!

I'd seem really silly to me if I was on my QLD P plates and I wanted to go from Brisbane to Syndey, and they made me jump out of my car at the NSW border and walk the rest of the way because of my engine conversion? lolOriginally Posted by BlackSupra
Not saying that they don't think it works that way tho!

No, Any engine mods are out that includes conversions.Originally Posted by BlackSupra
, that on the new system for the peeps that can't drive turbo'd cars.
Basically if a cop wanted to be a prick even a new exhaust on a car would make it illegal.
Do you hold a QLD license or NSW license if NSW then your fooked otherwise enjoy.
If in doubt power out
Thanks for that
yea i hold a nsw liscence but according to something i read if it was issued before July 1 this year and you transfer it to queensland then you arent subject to any of these homos new laws. I live right on the border with queensland so this is a possibility
