just power the 2 wires going into the motor.
reverse the polarity if you want the motor to go the other way
Just wondering if its possible to check electric doors and mirrors with out them being in the car?
Could anyone suggest a way to do so? i.e. hooking them straight up to a car batterie via something to regulate it?
want to check if this works

LOL... ahh my bad.
can i jsut plug them stright to a car battery? no need to change the voltage or anything?
That's all that normally happens anyway, power from the battery is applied and they do their job...
yeh, they'd be 12V motors.
ahh ok then, ill give it a go soon, i always jsut thought there was something to regulate the current inbetween the battery and the window/mirror motors besides a fuse.
The motors just draw whatever current they need. The fuse doesnt actually regulate current, they are there incase of an over current situation, where the current goes over the fuse value. When the fuse blows it will open the circuit so a high current doesnt flow to that device.
ahh, checked all the elec's and they all workedthanks guys for the help!!!
rep has been given and if it hasnt its because i cant... got to spread it around![]()
