    hey guys
sorry to hear of the big delays. im jumping in here to see if anyone is interested in selling their 3mm longer rods.. there is another application that suits these things which i'm keen to try out. building a 4K (1300c ohv donk) turbo engine using (hopefully) these custom rods and std 1ggte/1ggze(?) pistons with flycuts for the 4k two valve arrangement which apparently is the way to go.
if any peoples thinking to sell up.. we'd need two sets of these 1g 3mm rods to make 3 sets of 4k rods.
    cheers

Well, I've been wondering whether these rods would work with standard CP pistons.

I'll look into it, and if they do I wouldn't mind a set either. Maybe there'd be enough volume for another batch from Spool?

I would be more than happy to sell the rods that I have paid for, however Kyle has not delivered these or my other bits or pieces.

    Cheers Craig

Nope, 3mm longer connecting rod means you would have yo use a piston with 3mm less compression height (not standard).

Minimum spool order is 36 units iirc.

Or you can get custom argo's which are in the vicinity of 2k or get some crowers etc which are also in the same price vicinity, i know which ones id chose.

For some reason I missed your reply Jeffro.

Yeah, I getcha. I guess if you offset grind by 2mm, and run the 3mm longer rods, you actually need 5mm shorter pistons to keep standard height. Which in turn would effectively bring the piston top 4mm further down the bore.

Sounds like this has been a fun experience for all...
