I talked to kyle today, he sounds busy but the rods and pistons are in, people whove made deposits should be hearing from him soon.

It sounds like these rods are 3mm longer than standard and won't suit a stock 1G, will they?

Because if I had, say (hypothetically), Kyles old 1G and CP forged pistons that needs a rebuild, I may be looking for just some forged rods for safety. Trying to weigh up my options...

it can be made to work, just gets interesting...
im probably going to be running these with the 81mm stroke HKS crank, offset bushes in the top and crap to make it work right, time will tell...
but if you havnt put a deposit down, you may be better off just getting some rods made for the motor?

or run these rods and pistons and dont bother with the old stuff?

Haha, yeah Mate, i've just gotta find some to suit. Might actually take the cams back to tighe next time i'm in brissie for the repairs.

KE70, I'd certainly like to go this whole kit, but the pistons I got of Jordon76 are brand new to suit the motor, so i'm halfway there already. Since i'm halfway there, it'd be a fair bit of cash for and extra 200cc.
