Did you weld anything in the diff or on the car while the battery was connected? It shouldn't affect it but it might have. Maybe reset the battery just in case?
Hi
I know there are alot of these topics and i once had this problem before when i put the 20v in but now im really stumped
Car was running fine before i took it off the road for a week and a half to do my diff converstion,
now after completing the converstion.... the car doesnt want to fire up.
Things ive checked:
- Battery in good working condition, near new (i even jump started it just incase)
- Both fuel pumps are working, and i see fuel going to the engine
- The tested for spark and it sparks while the engine turns
- I checked all the fuses, they were fine
- I used a multimeter to make sure power was getting to the efi system etc, it was
I havn't opened the bonnet the whole time during the conversion until today when i bled the brakes.
Can anyone help? maybe ive missed something
thanks in advance

I see you said you can see fuel getting to the engine, though by chance you didn't bump or crush any hard fuel lines putting the diff in?
There is a set that run close to the drivers side upper trailing arm mount on the body i think, they are quite easy to whack with a ratchet when you're wrenching up the trailing arms...
Surge into the ECU perhaps? Could explain a lack of injector control.
Just seems logic that if you get spark, that you're fuel delivery isn't being controlled.
hard fuel lines fine
ground wires fine
I opened up the ecu... dont know what im really looking for but nothing looks burnt out
I can see unbrunt fuel on spark plugs
ive played with the car a bit and now and then the car will combust but will struggle to stay on.... i have a feeling it may be the ignitor
how can i do checks on the ignitor and maybe check the injectors better?
use the blacktop manual(is it a blktop?) that is online.....
http://www.onthenet.com.au/~paulp/Blacktop/
the one with "ig" in it is the ignition manual

Problem SOLVED!! well at least i hope so
All I did was YELL at it a whole lot!...
And from what i could tell it could have been the ecu or its connections
I pulled the whole thing out, inspected it and reconnected it all
I tried it again and it still wasn't going but i kept on letting it turn and finally got going
it runs as it was.... and hopefully will keep on doing just that
thanks from all your help and giving me new things to check.
