    Default 18RG Water Pump

    G'day All

I have searched through the threads for a part number for an 18RG water pump and couldn't find one. I do have proven form at being hopeless at finding stuff in the forums though. I just need help in identifying the water pump. The local parts supplier is pretty good here but I had a look through their supply books and couldn't find the correct looking part. I am not sure if the parts pictured do not include the rear housing with the pipes and the replacement part is only the front housing, bearings and impella. Any advice will be appreciated.

    Regards

Not 100% sure but wouldn't the 18RC pump be the same?

If I was in need of a pump for an RG then I would try an RC one first as they would be easy to source.

The 18RC ref in the pump books didnt look like the one on the engine but like I said it may just be the front part of the pump and not the housing that the impella goes into.

I forgot to mention how much of an excellent resource this is, so much so that my wife gave me some stick the other night about how much time I have spent on the net. I think this site has added time to the time spent surfing "Left handed" websites.
    Thanks again

I'm using an RC pump on mine which is a 250 head., The pump seems to be the same but the pump housing is different. I reckon though at a pinch even the housing could be transfared, with a little work as the only difference is the thermostat bypass hose. .
